Tailored Bow, using Double Sided Ribbon
Sometimes referred to as a Dior bow, these simple, elegant bows are great for use not only as hair bows, but as embellishments for clothing and crafts.

There is more than one way to make almost any bow. For the Dior bow I will show you two ways.

One way is take four ribbon lengths to form the bow. Cut a 3" length, a 9" length, an 11" length, and a 12" length. Form the 12" length into a circle. Them pinch the center in order to form a bow shape. Center the 9" and 11" lengths under the bow for tails and wire them all together in the middle. Wrap the 3" length over the wire and glue the ends at the back. Cut the tail ends each diagonally or in a v-shape and use Fray Chek to finish.

OR

1. Fold ribbon decreasing loop size on each layer.

2. Staple or tack all the layers together.

3. Add a length of ribbon behind loops for two tails and staple  or tack underneath loops.

4. Wrap a length of ribbon around center of bow and glue ends together.
