Instructions:
Beginning at one end of the ribbon length, wrap the length around your thumb to make the center loop. Twist the ribbon to keep the patterned or right side showing. Make a loop on one side of your thumb. Give the ribbon a twist and make another loop on the other side of your thumb. Continue making loops the same length and twist until the desired number of loops are achieved. A ten-loop bow, for example, has five loops on each side. End with a final twist.

For tails, bring the end of the ribbon length up and hold at the back of the bow, making a long loop which will later be cut for tails.

Insert a wire through the center loop. Bring the ends to the back, being sure to catch the ribbon end, and twist securely. Cut the tails to the desired lengths and finish the ends.
